CINCINNATI--(Business Wire)--
Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) was the focus of some heavy call trading on Monday, as
traders focused on the stock's July 18 call. The option added approximately
12,000 new positions, bringing its open interest up to 37,653 contracts. At
10:45 a.m., three large blocks totaling 9,977 contracts changed hands at an ask
price of $0.10. Meanwhile, at 12:55 p.m. Eastern time, a block of 1,896
contracts traded at an ask price of $0.10.

The July 17 call remains the site of peak call open interest, with more than
92,000 contracts in residence. With the shares currently trading below this
strike, this healthy accumulation of bullish bets could serve as a layer of
options-related resistance during the near term.
