John Ford Joins Solidica as Chief Financial Officer

ANN ARBOR, Mich., July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Solidica today announced the appointment of Mr. John Ford to the position of chief financial officer, effective immediately. Mr. Ford will be responsible for Solidica's financial operations including accounting, finance, planning, tax, and investor relations. Prior to joining Solidica, Mr. Ford was Vice President of Finance and held other senior executive positions at Arbortext, a venture funded company based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Mr. Ford played an integral role in helping Arbortext achieve 2,000% revenue growth and in selling the company to Parametric Technology Corporation (NASDAQ) for more than $190 million in cash in 2005. Mr. Ford holds a Bachelor's degree from Yale University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
