PARK CITY, Utah, July 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SpectrumDNA (OTC Bulletin
Board: SPXA) announces the appointment of Jeff Nolan, entrepreneur, venture
capitalist and prolific social media strategist, to its board of directors.

In 1998, Mr. Nolan began his explorations into social media during his tenure
as Venture Partner for SAP Ventures where he managed a portfolio of
investments and started the Venture Chronicles blog. In the venture capital
and entrepreneurial community, Venture Chronicles is considered an authority
on blogs, wikis, and social media. Venture Chronicles and Mr. Nolan himself
have been extensively sourced in The Wall Street Journal, San Jose Mercury
News and Venture Capital Journal. Mr. Nolan also founded the Enterprise
Irregulars Blogging Community, the enterprise software industry's first
blogging community that features over 40 bloggers covering the industry daily.

After his successful venture capital stint, in 2005 Mr. Nolan was appointed
Director of the Apollo Strategy Group for SAP Global Marketing, leading the
Oracle Competitive Strategies Team which identified and implemented disruptive
competitive strategies, including innovative social media tactics.

Most recently, Mr. Nolan was the VP Corporate Development at NewsGator
Technologies. During his tenure, Mr. Nolan oversaw restructuring of NewsGator
into enterprise software and media business units operating independently of
each other. He also worked to establish brand leadership for the company in
the widget and content syndication market space.

Mr. Nolan brings to the SpectrumDNA board an extensive background in
technology and Internet infrastructure and also deep marketing skills.

"SpectrumDNA is a unique company that fits very well with the topics I am
interested in, including brand engagement, social media promotion and
advertising, and syndication of content through social networks," said Nolan.
"This is a potentially transformative portfolio of products and services with
which this very capable team has been experiencing great success; I am honored
to be included in their efforts and look forward to contributing to future
success."

"With Jeff's experience in the software and social media industries, his
contribution is invaluable to the next phase of our evolution," said Jim
Banister, CEO of SpectrumDNA. "While pushing social media boundaries with new
products like PlanetTagger, our white-label location-based social media
engine, we need 'practical visionaries' with domain expertise and strong
business acumen to fully exploit the marketplace. Jeff embodies that
combination."
