CITIGROUP (C.N)

Citigroup has named Raymond McGuire sole head of global investment banking, a role he had previously shared with Alberto Verme. The bank named Verme chief executive of its Central and Eastern European and Middle East operations earlier this week.

BANK OF AMERICA (BAC.N)

Bank of America Merrill Lynch has hired A.J. Murphy as head of leveraged loan capital markets for the Americas. Murphy, currently at JPMorgan Chase & Co (JPM.N), is expected to join the in bank in October.

PRICEWATERHOUSECOOPERS

Financial services firm PricewaterhouseCoopers has named John Verderese leader of its U.S. advisory services talent management group. Verderese has been with the company for 25 years and was previously U.S. advisory human capital leader.

BRYAN CAVE

Law firm Bryan Cave has hired Philip Haleen and Iliana Haleen to its Hamburg office. Philip Haleen will practice with the franchise and distribution law, private client and tax advice and controversy client service groups. Iliana Haleen will practice with the intellectual property client service group and will set up and lead a German intellectual property practice group.

SHEARMAN & STERLING

Shearman & Sterling has hired Jeffrey Quinn, previously a managing director in the corporate finance group at Merrill Lynch's investment bank, at the of counsel level working in the law firm's New York and Washington DC offices.

LOMBARD INTERNATIONAL ASSURANCE S.A.

The member of Friends Provident Plc FP.L appointed Felix Morf as the new Swiss-based chief executive to lead the Swiss sales operation. Prior to this, Felix spent 10 years with Pictet Funds in the Geneva and Zurich operations.

FIDUCIARY COUNSELORS INC

The investment advisor named Kathy Griswold as director of investments. Griswold has previously worked as a director of investments for Southern New England Telecommunications.

PACIFIC ALTERNATIVE ASSET MANAGEMENT CO

The hedge fund said Philippe Jorion and Kemmy Koh have been promoted to partners. Jorion joined the firm three years ago as a director in the Risk Management Group based in the Irvine office, while Koh is director of the company's Singapore office.

COLLINS STEWART CLST.L

Collins Stewart Wealth Management, a portfolio manager and stockbroker, named Simon Whittley as an intermediary sales manager, based in London. Whittley most recently worked at Credit Suisse Private Bank, a part of Credit Suisse Group AG (CSGN.VX).

CREDIT SUISSE (HONG KONG) LTD
