Four Monaco players diagnosed with H1N1 flu

MONACO (Reuters) - Four Monaco players have been diagnosed with the H1N1 flu virus during a training camp in Vichy in central France, the Ligue 1 club said on Saturday.
The players involved were not named in a statement published on the club website (www.asm-fc.com).
"All the precautionary measures were taken as soon as the first symptoms of the flu appeared. Their temperature is down and their health gives no cause for concern," team doctor Philippe Kuentz was quoted as saying in the statement.
The players have been confined to their rooms and are being treated with Tamiflu, the statement added.
The team will remain in Vichy until Wednesday as scheduled but a friendly against Ligue 2 Clermont as been canceled and the training sessions will take place behind closed doors.
British media reported on Saturday that England and Manchester City defender Micah Richards was recovering from swine flu after being diagnosed with the virus while on holiday in Cyprus.
