HOLLYWOOD, Calif., July 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Catherine Andrews, through her
paintings, was first and foremost, in starting the movement of "Visionary
Art." Catherine will be holding an exhibit of her inspiring work at Modern Om,
located at 13452 Washington Blvd. in Venice, CA 90291 from 6-10 P.M., Saturday
July 18, 2009. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Empowerment Works'
programs.

Royal European family member Imperial Countess Madeleine Walderdorff, the
Ambassador of Goodwill for Empowerment Works, who could be seen on the CBS
show "Josh & JB In the Industry," playing herself - a true humanitarian and
philanthropist, is one of the celebrities attending. Others include Celeste
Fianna, also of the show "Josh & JB In the Industry," Catherine Pacino,
Patrick Kilpatrick of "Minority Report," Robert Giardina of "Lies and
Illusions," Kristos, one of the world's best skateboarders, among many others.

Empowerment Works' Artists In Action series was created to provide a medium
for artists to raise public awareness of critical, worldwide, social and
environmental issues, as well as raising funds for community-led solutions.

Many children around the world are missing basic necessities of life such as
food, water, etc. A key element that is often overlooked is the aspect of
hope. EW brings light where otherwise there might not be any by, sponsoring
the survival of 250 children, stimulating economic development, and addressing
other issues.

Catherine Andrews' uniquely visionary art transcends both culture and
religion. From an early age, Catherine received visions she would channel onto
the canvas. In the beginning many of the visions were of a negative nature,
which she consciously blocked out. The images evolved from the lower
dimensions into the heavenly realms of angelic beings, which many consider to
be illuminated masterpieces.

Catherine's talent is expressed through many different forms of the arts. She
is a musician, filmmaker, and green eco-architect, whom like Leonardo Da
Vinci, has drawn up whole futuristic cities.

The work of Artists In Action is building up to the Global Summit event. This
event is an alliance between Empowerment Works and many other non-profit
organizations dedicated to global sustainability, and alternative renewable
energies. Their mission is to bring together governments of the world and
business sector leaders by featuring leading edge innovators like Catherine
Andrews. Some others include Hunter Lovins, author and promoter of sustainable
development for over 30 years, and president and founder of the non-profit
organization, Natural Capitalism Solutions. Another is Gunter Pauli, creator
of ZERI (Zero Emissions Research and Initiatives) -- the ultimate in
sustainable technology.
