Italian Stocks - Factors to watch on July 15
MILAN, July 15 (Reuters) - The following factors could affect Italian markets on Wednesday.

ENEL (ENEI.MI)
The utility is looking at ways to finance construction of nuclear plants in Italy from 2013, with possible bond issues on the cards, Enel's chief executive said on Tuesday during a visit to Slovakia. [ID:nLE566820]
* ENI (ENI.MI), SNAM RETE GAS (SRG.MI)
Industry Minister Claudio Scajola said energy regulator head Allessandro Ortis should not create hardships for big Italian companies following Ortis's call for oil company Eni to remove ownership ties with gas network Snam Rete Gas, several newspapers reported.
* FIAT (FIA.MI)
The car maker will formalise its proposal for car designer Bertone by midday on Thursday and intends to offer around 20 million euros for its Grugliasco plant, equipment and staff, but not its brand, Il Messaggero reported without citing sources.
* European new car sales rose 2.4 percent in June, the first increase in 14 months, industry body ACEA said on Wednesday. [ID:nLF30741] Fiat's new car sales were up 11.7 percent last month and its market share rose to 8.6 percent from 7.9 percent the year before.
UBI BANCA (UBI.MI)
The bank's 639 million euros convertible bond issue, which closed last Friday, was subscribed 97.74 percent, the bank said on Tuesday. Remaining rights to subscribe to the bond will be sold between July 20 and 24, it said.
UNICREDIT (CRDI.MI)
The trustee hunting for assets linked to the Bernard Madoff
fraud on Tuesday sued an investment fund controlled by Austria's
Bank Medici and the fund's custodian, a unit of HSBC Holdings
Plc (HSBA.L) for $578 million.
UniCredit holds a 25 percent stake in Medici, with Medici Chairwoman Sonja Kohn owning the rest. [ID:nN14285996]
BULGARI BULG.MI
Milan broker Cassa Lombarda reiterated its "sell" rating on the luxury stock in a note ahead of second quarter results at the end of July revising down its full year earnings estimates.
TENARIS (TENR.MI)(TENA.BA)
Cassa Lombarda reiterated its "sell" rating on the steel tube maker leaving its earnings estimates unchanged and saying it expected a weak second quarter.
SMALL AND MID-CAPS
TOD'S (TOD.MI)
The luxury shoe and bag maker closed the first half of 2009 "highly satisfied" and is expecting a similar result for the full year, Chairman and Chief Executive Diego Dalla Valle said in an interview with MF. On the economic downturn, Tod's expects positive signals by Christmas, allowing the the company to look at 2010 with optimism, especially the second half, he said.
MANAGEMENT & CAPITALI (MACA.MI)
Alessio Nati, chief executive of Investimenti & Sviluppo,
is studying a possible buyout offer for the investment company,
MF and Il Sole 24 Ore said, citing its Radiocor agency. MF said
in an unsourced report that bourse regulator Consob had asked
Nati to issue a statement and it is expected on Wednesday. Two
other companies - Tamburi Investment Partners (TIP.MI) and
MI.MO.SE - have bid for Management & Capitali.
CREDITO VALTELLINESE (PCVI.MI)
The north Italian bank is buying up to 80 percent in Banca Cooperativa Cattolica, which is based in Viterbo near Rome and which at the end of 2008 had net assets of 28.8 million euros, the banks said in a joint statement on Tuesday.
Creval is paying for the Viterbo bank in a mix of shares and cash. Shares make up 30 percent of the payment. The cash payment would be 46 million euros if 80 percent of the target shareholders accept the offer, they said.
AICON (BW1.MI)
The motoryacht maker reported stronger sales and margins in the third quarter but posted a net loss of 2.6 million euros compared with a profit of 3.1 million euros in same period a year ago, it said on Tuesday. [ID:nLE579143]
RDB (RDB.MI)
The building materials group sees its market recovering in mid-2010 and has no need to launch a capital increase as its debt is under control, its chief executive said on Tuesday in a Reuters interview. [ID:nLE539899]
IKF (IKF.MI)
The investment company could study setting up a consortium of businesspeople led by IKF to merge with Milan's Banca MB, IKF said in a statement on Tuesday.
BANCA ITALEASE BIL.MI
The reopened bid period for Banco Popolare's (BAPO.MI)
buyout offer ends. Banco Popolare is offering 1.5 euros a share
and plans to delist Italease.
