John Goodman joins Fox CIA comedy

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - John Goodman is returning to comedy series.

The "Roseanne" veteran will co-star in "The Station," a comedy pilot being produced by Ben Stiller for Fox.

The project centers on CIA operative Eric (Justin Bartha) and his workmates, who are on a covert mission in Central America to install a new dictator. Goodman will play an old-school CIA veteran who mentors Eric.

Goodman recently signed on to co-star in HBO Films' Jack Kevorkian biopic "You Don't Know Jack" opposite Al Pacino and Susan Sarandon.
