Citi names new Asia equities head

HONG KONG, July 20 (Reuters) - Citigroup (C.N) on Monday said it had appointed Adrian Faure as head of Asian equities-ex Australia and Japan.

Faure will be based in Hong Kong and will be responsible for the strategic direction and management of the equities business across 16 markets in Asia Pacific.

He was previously the head of Citi Investment Research Asia Pacific, including Japan and Australia. Faure joined Citi in May 2005.
