Gazprom borrows $11 bln in H1, $4.5 bln from Sberbank

MOSCOW, July 20 (Reuters) - Russia's gas export monopoly Gazprom (GAZP.MM), the country's most indebted firm, borrowed over $11 billion in the first half of 2009 and redeemed $5.3 billion, the company said in a memorandum to investors.

Russia's biggest bank, state-run Sberbank SBER03.MM, was Gazprom's most active lender in the first half of the year providing over $4.5 billion, the memorandum said.
