KBW INC (KBW.N)

The investment bank, which specializes in the financial services sector, appointed Greg Heher as executive vice president and head of corporate bond trading, effective immediately.

Heher was previously managing director at Sandler O'Neill & Partners, responsible for corporate bond trading activity.

MERCER

The unit of Marsh & McLennan Cos Inc (MMC.N) appointed Monica Santiago as head of its health & benefits business in the U.K. She was previously chief operating officer for the health & benefits business in Europe.

BGC PARTNERS INC (BGCP.O)

Inter-dealer broker BGC Partners added a precious metals desk to work alongside its existing base metals desk and appointed Bob Davis to join the team. Davis was previously global head of precious metals sales and marketing at BNP Paribas in London.

H.I.G. CAPITAL

H.I.G. Capital and its debt affiliate Bayside Capital appointed Appu Mundassery as managing director, based in London. Previously, Mundassery was a partner and senior portfolio manager at Highland Capital.

DEUTSCHE BANK SECURITIES INC (DBKGn.DE)

Jonathan Arnold will join as a managing director and senior equity research analyst in company research within the global markets division. Arnold will be based in New York.

BARCLAYS CAPITAL

Barclays Capital, the investment banking division of Barclays Bank Plc (BARC.L), appointed Zhi Zhong Qiu, as vice chairman for Asia Pacific and chairman of Greater China. He will be based in Hong Kong.

GFI GROUP INC GFIG.O

GFI hired a trio of senior bankers from JPMorgan Chase & Co (JPM.N), led by Richard Royden, to establish a London-based "special situations" group serving clients such as merger arbitrageurs.

The team, comprised of Royden, Bo Nordberg and Dan Oakes, will work in GFI's Christopher Street Capital group.

MATRIX CORPORATE CAPITAL LLP

Matrix appointed Malcolm Le May as deputy chairman. He joins from JER Partners.

AVARAE GLOBAL COINS PLC (AVR.L)

The investment company appointed Tanya Maria O'Carroll to the board with immediate effect. She was previously with Hillberry Trust Co Ltd.

ALIXPARTNERS LLP

AlixPartners LLP appointed Dennis Yeskey as managing director. He will be based in New York. Yeskey was national director of the real estate capital markets practice for Deloitte Consulting LLP.

BIRLA SUN LIFE ASSET MANAGEMENT

The company named A. Balasubramanian as chief executive. He is currently the chief investment officer at Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund and will continue to handle this portfolio.

RFIB HOLDINGS LTD
