FACTBOX: Security developments in Iraq, July 22
(Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 1615 GMT Wednesday.
ANBAR PROVINCE - Iraqi security forces detained around 300 suspected insurgents in raids in the vast desert province of Anbar, west of Baghdad, following a spate of bombings there in the past week, police said.
BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb wounded nine people when it exploded in Doura district, southern Baghdad, police said.
BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb wounded eight civilians in central Baghdad Tuesday, police said.
MOSUL - A roadside bomb targeting an Iraqi army patrol wounded two soldiers in northern Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad Tuesday, police said.
