 July 23 (Reuters) - The following financial services
industry appointments were announced on Thursday. To inform us

 LEERINK SWANN
 The healthcare investment bank said it has recruited a team
of investment bankers, including James Boylan, Bryan Giraudo,
Tony Gibney and Mark Page, from Bank of America Merrill Lynch
(BAC.N). They will join the firm on completion of notice
obligations to Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
 Boylan will take over as the new head of investment
banking, while Gibney, Giraudo and Page will join as managing
directors.
 JEFFERIES & CO INC
 The principal operating subsidiary of Jefferies Group Inc
(JEF.N) appointed Mark Plansky as a managing director and head
of Jefferies' MBS/ABS/CMBS group in Boston. He joins from
Barclays, where he was a managing director focused on MBS
sales
 PACIFIC ALTERNATIVE ASSET MANAGEMENT CO
 The hedge funds company named Peter Stein to chair the
Strategy Allocation Committee. Stein, who was previously the
chief investment officer at the University of Chicago, will be
based in Irvine.
 MACQUARIE SECURITIES GROUP
 Macquarie Securities Group, the institutional securities
arm of Macquarie Group (MQG.AX), appointed Andrew Mouat as head
of Macquarie Securities in India.
 RBC WEALTH MANAGEMENT
 RBC Wealth Management, part of Royal Bank of Canada (RY.TO)
(RY.N) has appointed Wasim Afzal to the position of manager in
structured notes and fixed income advisory. Afzal is from RBC
Capital Markets.
 KPMG LLP
 The audit, tax and advisory firm said Gregg Pritchard has
joined to lead restructuring services in the Northeast. He will
be based in New York.
 BUTTERFIELD FULCRUM
 Independent administrator for the alternative investment
industry, Butterfield Fulcrum, appointed Andrew Smith as the
firm's global head of business development and marketing. He
comes from Citibank and will be based in New York.
 KARABUS MANAGEMENT INC
 Karabus Management, retail advisory firm and a subsidiary
of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Canada, appointed Michael
Unger as managing director, merchandising optimization, Farla
Efros as managing director, performance improvement, and Isaac
Krakovsky as vice president, performance improvement.
 Unger comes from Archstone Consulting, Efros from
Partnering Group Inc and Krakovsky from SAP America.
 ECCLESIASTICAL INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT
 Ecclesiastical Investment Management appointed Philip Baker
as strategic partnership manager with immediate effect.
