LONDON, July 23 (Reuters) - British IT firm Misys (MSY.L) reported a 41 percent rise in revenue of 692 million pounds ($1.1 billion) on Thursday, broadly in line with analyst forecasts and boosted by a contribution from its Allscripts-Misys subsidiary.

The firm, which supplies software to the financial sector and to U.S doctors through Allscripts-Misys NDRX.O, reported a 43 percent rise in adjusted operating profit of 117 million pounds, beating analyst forecasts, and relecting better margins.

Analysts were expecting the group to post revenue of 700.6 million pounds and adjusted operating profit of 110.5 million pounds, according to a Reuters poll of 11 analysts.

Allscripts-Misys posted fourth-quarter results ahead of analyst expectations on Monday, helped by higher margins, with net income of $13.4 million, up from $10.9 million. [ID:nBNG389788].

Shares in Misys, which have outperformed the FTSE 350 software and computer service index .FTNMX9530 by 15 percent over the last 12 months, closed at 176.25 pence on Wednesday.
