Banco Popolare plans 3-yr euro benchmark bond -IFR

LONDON, July 29 (Reuters) - Italy's Banco Popolare (BAPO.MI) plans a three-year euro benchmark bond, IFR reported on Wednesday.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch, BNP Paribas and Banca Aletti are to manage the issue, said IFR Markets, a Thomson Reuters online news and market analysis service.

The bank is rated A2 by Moody's Investors Service and A- by Standard & Poor's and Fitch Ratings.
