Japan's Idemitsu sees Aug crude refining down 13 pct y/y

TOKYO, July 29 (Reuters) - Idemitsu Kosan Co (5019.T), Japan's third-largest refiner, said on Wednesday it plans to refine 2.5 million kilolitres of crude oil in August, down 13 percent from a year earlier.

Idemitsu kept unchanged its plans to refine 7.0 million kl (479,000 barrels per day) of crude in July-September, down 17 percent from the same period last year.

The company has four refineries in Japan with total crude refining capacity of 640,000 barrels per day.
