MADRID, July 30 (Reuters) - Spanish infrastructure group Abertis (ABE.MC) said on Thursday its was sticking to its forecasts for positive growth in its main profit lines ion 2009 after posting slightly better than expected first-half results.

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 2.7 percent to 1.14 billion euros, which compared with a 1.10 billion euro forecast given in a Reuters poll of six analysts.

Traffic figures for the first half showed a 4 percent percent drop, which compared with an 8.8 percent fall at the end of March.

Net profit edged up 0.6 percent to 332 million euros, ahead of the average forecast of 300 million. (Reporting by Jonathan Gleave; Editing by Greg Mahlich)
