New Issue-A&P sells $260 mln notes

 July 30 (Reuters) - The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea
Company, Inc (A&P) GAP.N on Thursday sold $260 million of
senior secured notes in the 144a private placement market, said
IFR, a Thomson Reuters service.
 The size of the deal was increased from an originally
planned $225 million.
 Bank of America was the sole bookrunning manager for the
sale.
