CapitaLand to says sell over $690 mln in conv bonds

SINGAPORE, July 30 (Reuters) - CapitaLand (CATL.SI), Southeast Asia's biggest developer, plans to issue over S$1 billion ($693 million) worth of convertible bonds, the company said late on Thursday.

"The company proposes to issue S$1.1 billion in principal amount of convertible bonds and may increase the size of the issue by up to S$100 million within the next 30 days," it said in a statement.

Credit Suisse (CSGN.VX) is handling the issue and pricing of the convertible bond is expected to take place before the end of Thursday.
