Altum Promotes From Within and Continues to Grow With Fresh Talent

  PARSIPPANY, NJ, Jul 30 (MARKET WIRE) --

announced one promotion and nine new hires.

    Promotion

    Darah Semancik, with Altum for three years, has advanced to senior art
director from her previous position as art director. Ms. Semancik will be
developing creative concepts, logos and print media for Altum's
oncology-focused clients.

    New Hires

    Joining Altum as senior vice president, management supervisor, Jenifer
Saydah will be responsible for overseeing all marketing initiatives,
including account management and creative and copy direction, for a
leading drug used to treat colon cancer and head and neck cancer. Prior
to joining CommonHealth, Ms. Saydah was senior vice president, group
account supervisor at Integrated Communications Corporation, a medical
communications company located in Parsippany.

    Kin Lee takes on the role of senior business manager. In this role, he
will manage client budgets and estimate budgets for projects. Immediately
before signing on with Altum, Mr. Lee was a business manager at DraftFCB
Healthcare, a healthcare marketing company located in New York City.

    Carmela Palermo enters Altum as associate director, scientific
communications, with a Ph.D. in cellular and molecular pharmacology. As
such, Dr. Palermo will serve as an educational resource to internal brand
teams, overseeing the development of oncology-focused programs and acting
as a scientific liaison to clients. Most recently, Dr. Palermo was a
postdoctoral research fellow at the New York City campus of Memorial
Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

    Kerrin Summa and Emmanouel Magoulakis both join Altum as account group
supervisors, working on leading medicines used to treat colon cancer, head
and neck cancer, and non-small cell lung cancer. They will be responsible
for overseeing successful implementation of brands' strategies, managing
account teams and identifying new business and partnership opportunities.
Prior to joining Altum, Ms. Summa worked as an account group supervisor at
Harrison and Star, a healthcare advertising and communications agency
located in New York City, and Mr. Magoulakis was a senior
biopharmaceutical specialist, oncology, at Amgen, a biotechnology company
in New York City.

    The Altum team has acquired Rosena Enaje as senior account executive. She
will ensure clients' needs are met and oversee all day-to-day
responsibilities and operations for a medication used to prevent nausea
and vomiting caused by chemotherapy. Previously, Ms. Enaje was an account
executive at Sudler & Hennessey, a healthcare advertising agency located
in New York City.

    Sindy Wan comes to Altum as an account executive, responsible for
supporting the account team and maintaining client relations, as well as
managing daily tasks and projects for a leading drug used to treat colon
cancer and head and neck cancer. Ms. Wan is a recent graduate of
Northwestern University with a master's degree in integrated marketing
communications.

    Joining Altum as account coordinators, Cara Taranto and Ashley Tranter
will be responsible for routing jobs following company workflow from
inception through completion, and monitoring project budgets and
timelines. Before signing on with Altum, Ms. Taranto was a traffic
coordinator intern for CommonHealth's sister agency, Solara, a managed
care marketing business unit. Ms. Tranter is a recent graduate of
Gettysburg College, located in Pennsylvania.
