SAIC Awarded Contract to Support Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic

Company to Continue Providing Tactical Command and Control (C2) Integration
Support to Department of Defense and Federal Agencies
SAN DIEGO and MCLEAN, Va. July 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Science
Applications International Corporation (SAIC) (NYSE: SAI) today announced that
it has been awarded a prime contract by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems
Center Atlantic (SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic) to provide command and control
integration support to the Department of Defense (DoD) and federal agencies.
The multiple award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a
one-year base period of performance and four one-year options. SAIC's prime
contract has a total contract value of more than $196 million if all options
are exercised. Work will be performed in Charleston, S.C., and Lexington Park,
Md., by SAIC's wholly owned subsidiary Eagan, McAllister Associates, Inc.
(EMA).
SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic provides systems engineering and integration,
configuration management, quality assurance, logistics, training, and test and
evaluation in support of federal and DoD C4ISR (command, control,
communications, computer, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance)
requirements. Under the contract, SAIC will provide engineering and technical
support services for the development, test and evaluation, and life cycle
support of C4ISR systems and related equipment and subsystems.
