RELM Wireless Receives Orders Totaling $1.8 Million From U.S. Departments of
Agriculture and Interior

WEST MELBOURNE, Fla., July 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- RELM Wireless
Corporation (NYSE: AMEX - RWC) today announced that it has received orders
totaling $1.8 million from agencies of the U. S. Department of Agriculture and
the U.S. Department of the Interior. These orders are comprised primarily of
RELM's new digital P25 KNG products and its long-time flagship D-Series
digital P-25 products. It is anticipated that these orders will be fulfilled
during the third quarter of 2009.
