In Celebration of 10th Annual System Administrator Appreciation Day, Video
Portrays "A Day in the Life" of these Unsung Heroes
LAS VEGAS--(Business Wire)--
Trusted Computer Solutions, Inc. (TCS), a leading developer of cross domain and
cyber security solutions, is celebrating the 10th Annual System Administrator
Appreciation Day with the release of a video that portrays an all too familiar
scenario during their workday. This year, System Administrator Appreciation Day
takes place on Friday, July 31.

Check out the video at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3klMcY8amOY

Every organization has a system administrator (aka "sys admin") that answers the
call of duty in times of crisis for their organization twenty-four hours a day,
seven days a week. No two days are the same as they have a wide-range of
responsibilities that include daily systems and software checks, performing
backups of data, applying operating system updates and configuration changes.
Additionally, sys admins have to install and configure new hardware or software,
answer technical (or non-technical) questions, manage security issues, document
system configurations, troubleshoot user problems and ultimately keep the
network up and running.

So the next time you see a sys admin in the hallway, take a moment and say
"thank you" and maybe even invite them to lunch.

"On call around the clock, system administrators are selfless individuals that
make sure the companies they work for stay up and running. Their efforts take
place in the background and ensure that every individual in an organization,
from sales to finance to the CEO, can get their job done. Quite a few of our
employees at TCS have worked as system administrators and many of our customers
hold the same title, so we thought it would be fun to produce a video that
humorously portrays what system administrators deal with daily. As a group of
professionals that are typically under appreciated, TCS applauds the work of
system administrators everywhere on this day, and everyday." - Ed Hammersla,
Chief Operating Officer, TCS
