HickoryTech Corporation Declares Quarterly Dividend

MANKATO, Minn.--(Business Wire)--
HickoryTech Corporation (Nasdaq: HTCO) announced today that its Board of
Directors has declared a quarterly dividend of 13 cents per share of HickoryTech
common stock, payable Sept. 5, 2009 to shareholders of record as of Aug. 15,
2009. HickoryTech has a long tradition of paying a cash dividend that spans more
than 60 years.
