ANAHEIM, Calif., July 30 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- While publicly funded
universities across the U.S. are hitting their student bodies with tuition
hikes, Anaheim University, a private accredited university based in Anaheim,
California, has cut its tuition in half through the Tuition Relief Program.
With the aid of corporate and individual support, the Tuition Relief Program
reduces tuition by 50% for all new online degree-seeking students.

According to Anaheim University representative David Bracey, "Our students
need us to be there at this time. The troubled global economy has put
students the world over in a Catch-22 situation - they need to earn a graduate
degree so they can improve their financial situation, but they don't want to
go into long-term debt in order to do so. As part of Anaheim University's 2020
Vision to 'Share It Forward,' we have sought ways to make academics of the
highest quality accessible to students around the world at this time when the
global economy is impacting everyone's pocketbooks. Fortunately we have had
the support of generous benefactors including actress Carol Burnett and Body
Glove Co-Founder Bob Meistrell, who have helped provide a helping hand to
students through scholarship contributions." "Everyone needs a helping hand,
and we give that helping hand," said Meistrell.

Anaheim University's 2020 Vision is a commitment to Share It Forward and to
make a positive impact on society and the natural environment through a series
of initiatives over the next decade leading up to the year 2020. The Tuition
Relief Program reduces tuition for students enrolling in Anaheim University's
Online Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages
(TESOL) and Online MBA degree programs, as well as its Online Certificate,
Diploma and MBA programs in Sustainable Management (Online Green MBA).

An Anaheim University Sustainable Management student said, "I would like to
send a thank you to Ms. Carol Burnett for contributing to the tuition relief
program offered to students who gain acceptance into Anaheim University. I am
a benefactor of her kindness, and I wanted to say, 'thank you with all my
heart.'"
