Anthony Tarricone, Law Partner at Kreindler & Kreindler LLP, Elected President
of the American Association for Justice

NEW YORK, July 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Anthony Tarricone, a partner at Kreindler &
Kreindler LLP, the nation's preeminent aviation law firm, was elected
president of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) yesterday, the firm
announced today. During his term as AAJ president, Mr. Tarricone, who heads
Kreindler's Boston office, will continue in his role at the firm.

As president of AAJ, the world's largest trial bar and formerly known as the
Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Mr. Tarricone will work closely with
AAJ's members to ensure that any American injured by the misconduct and gross
negligence of others can get justice in the courtroom, even when that means
taking on the most powerful interests. The association is committed to
strengthening the civil justice system and opposes efforts to weaken basic
legal protections for Americans.

Mr. Tarricone has been an executive officer of AAJ in various capacities since
2004. As president, he will help formulate AAJ policy and will serve as a
national spokesperson on a wide variety of legal issues, including victims'
rights, healthcare and medical negligence, transportation safety and security,
corporate gross misconduct and more.

At Kreindler, Mr. Tarricone litigates wrongful death and catastrophic injury
cases involving aircraft accidents and disasters; defective products; medical
negligence; and other complex cases. He joined Kreindler in 2006.

Mr. Tarricone assumed the reigns of AAJ at the association's annual convention
in San Francisco after a membership vote yesterday. "Our number one priority
is to ensure that people consistently have a fair chance to receive justice
through the nation's legal system whenever they suffer from the misconduct or
gross negligence of others," said Mr. Tarricone. "All Americans benefit when
justice is served."

"Anthony is an extraordinary legal talent and an exceptional advocate for his
clients," said James P. Kreindler of the Kreindler firm. "We know that he
will do a terrific job as president of AAJ as the profession navigates the
many important legal issues we now face as individuals and as a nation."

Mr. Tarricone has long been a vocal advocate for individuals who have suffered
harm by the wrongful conduct of corporate and governmental interests. At
Kreindler, Mr. Tarricone represents families in the aftermath of both general
aviation and commercial aircraft crashes throughout the United States and
internationally. He also litigates cases of serious injury and death
involving defective products and other matters.

Previously, he was a founding partner of Sarrouf, Tarricone & Flemming, where
he headed the firm's aviation practice, handling a broad spectrum of cases -
from air carrier disasters to general aviation accidents - in claims against
air carriers; manufacturers of aircraft and components; the Federal Aviation
Administration (FAA); aircraft repair stations; and operators of charter and
rental aircraft.

In addition to his leadership positions at AAJ, Mr. Tarricone is a past
president of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, where he also
served as a Governor and member of the Executive Committee. He is a member of
the National Transportation Safety Board Bar Association and the Lawyer-Pilots
Bar Association. Mr. Tarricone is a frequent lecturer and writer for various
bar and professional associations. He has been recognized by the Best Lawyers
in America and the Super Lawyers publications, and he holds the highest rating
established by the legal rating organization Martindale-Hubbell.

Mr. Tarricone attended Suffolk University Law School in Boston, MA, where he
served as Note Editor of the Law Review and graduated first in his class.
After graduation, he served as Law Clerk to the Justices of the Superior Court
before entering private practice. Mr. Tarricone resides in Hamilton, MA, with
his family.
