financial services arena. We now recognise the pursuit of excellence amongst

institutions are judged on their ability to negotiate present and future
challenges in the marketplace based on a ten-dimensional scorecard that covers
strong core retail balance sheets, sound risk management systems and processes,
and transparent strategies, amongst others. By far the most transparent and
comprehensive evaluation programme in its category, the Excellence Programme
also involves an international panel of distinguished experts on consumer
banking.
