TORONTO, July 30 /PRNewswire/ - Miami based law firm Pathman Lewis announced
the formation of PL Property Tax Reduction Appeal, LLC. The company was
created to address growing demand from Florida property owners to accurately
determine their 2009 property tax assessments as commercial and residential
real estate prices have dropped considerably over the past several years.
The company is comprised of professionals with extensive experience in
commercial and residential real estate valuation who have represented numerous
property owners before the Value Adjustment Board. The company will complement
Pathman Lewis' real estate, land use, zoning and environmental practice areas.
"The current economy has created dramatic shifts in real estate value and as a
result, property taxes are an enormous issue," said David Sacks, a partner at
Pathman Lewis. "We know that property values may not be accurately assessed in
2009 and owners are adamant their taxes be re-evaluated and challenged if
necessary. The company's team of professionals is well versed with the
assessment and appeal process and what needs to be done to achieve a favorable
assessment."
Managing partner Wayne Pathman said, "Our firm continues to evolve and build
relationships to respond to the needs of our clients locally and throughout
Florida, and the creation of PL Property Tax Reduction Appeal, LLC will
further these goals."

Pathman Lewis provides clients with advice, counsel and expertise in the
practice areas of real estate, land use, zoning, and environmental; commercial
litigation and class actions; banking, lending and title insurance;
condominium development association issues; entertainment, sports and family
law; corporate law, mergers and acquisitions; automotive law including
dealership transactions, consumer complaints, financing, collections,
acquisitions, and sales; and business and transactional law.
