Organization aims to improve speed and efficiencies within accounts payable

ASHBURN, Va., July 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Brainware, Inc., an innovative provider
of intelligent data capture and enterprise search solutions, today announced
that Anixter International (NYSE: AXE) has selected the company's Brainware
Distiller(TM) solution to automate the processing of nearly 1.2 million
invoices per year. Anixter will also leverage Brainware's workflow system to
automatically route approvals and the Brainware Visibility(TM) module for
real-time statistics and reporting on the invoice processing cycle.

Brainware Distiller will extract and validate header and line item data from
Anixter's invoices that arrive via postal mail, email and fax. The
organization's goals for this project are to reduce the time required to enter
data from invoices and cut the errors associated with the process.

"Finance departments have recognized that automation is the fastest way to
achieve top performer or world-class status amongst their peers," said Carl
Mergele, Chief Executive Officer at Brainware. "Anixter has made an investment
in Brainware to help the company incorporate accounts payable best practices
en route to improving operational efficiencies and realizing significant cost
