Sitebrand Announces Second Quarter 2009 Results

GATINEAU, QUEBEC, Jul 30 (MARKET WIRE) --
Sitebrand Inc (TSX VENTURE: SIB), a leader in online marketing solutions
today announced results for its three months and six months ending May
31, 2009.
Highlights for the second quarter include:
- Sitebrand achieved $609,735 in revenues compared to $527,051 in the
same period last year, a 16% increase, continuing the trend of
double-digit revenue growth over the past five years.
- A quarterly loss of $102,032 compared to $254,696 in the same period
last year, a decrease of 60%.
- A loss of $254,696 for first six months of fiscal 2009 as compared to
$1,335,459 for the first six months of last year, a reduction of 81%.

Sitebrand delivered the following results for the three and six months
ended May 31, 2009:
Revenue: Revenue for the three months ended May 31, 2009 totaled
$609,735, an increase of $82,684 (16%) over the $527,051 in revenue for
second quarter of fiscal year 2008. Revenue for the six months ended May
31, 2009 was $1,206,141, an increase of $172,966 (17%) over the
$1,033,175 in revenue for the year-to-date ended May 31, 2008. This
increase reflected an increase in customers as well as increased revenues
per customer.
Net loss and Earnings per Share: Net loss for the three months ended May
31, 2009, was $102,032 as compared to $254,696 in the same period of the
prior year, a 60% reduction and the net loss for the six months ended May
31, 2009, was $254,696 as compared to $1,335,459 in the same period of
the prior year, a decrease of 81%. The reduced loss was a result of cost
reductions including decreased staffing levels and improved operating
efficiencies.
The cash used for operations in the three months ended May 31, 2009 was
$104,622 as compared to $413,764 in the three months ended February 29,
2008, a 75% reduction and cash used from operations in the first two
quarters of fiscal 2009 was $413,764 as opposed to $542,979 in the same
period of the prior year, a decrease of 24%. The basic and diluted loss
per share for the second quarter of 2009 and the same time last year were
$0.00 and $0.06 respectively.
