PODGORICA, July 30 (Reuters) - Montenegro on Thursday accepted an offer from Italian utility A2A (A2.MI) for a minority stake in power monopoly EPCG, Deputy Prime Minister Vujica Lazovic said.

He rejected a bid from Greece's PPC (DEHr.AT) as "incompatible" with the rules of the tender.

PPC will have eight days to lodge an appeal before the Privatisation Council confirms the decision, he added. (Reporting by Petar Komnenic; Writing by Gordana Filipovic; Editing by Adam Tanner and David Cowell)
