NEW YORK (Reuters) - Shares of Ford Motor Co (F.N) rose more than 3 percent to $8.30 before the bell on Monday after its senior executives said the U.S. automaker was on track to report its first monthly sales increase in two years.

Ford, due to report its July sales later in the day, is among the primary beneficiaries of the federal government's "Cash for Clunkers" incentive program that took effect on July 24.
