Italian Stocks - Factors to watch on Aug 5
MILAN, Aug 5 (Reuters) - The following factors could affect Italian markets on Wednesday.

ATLANTIA (ATL.MI)
The toll-road company reported a 5 percent rise in first-half profits on Tuesday, as higher tariffs helped offset lower traffic volumes on its highways. [ID:nL4661430]
SMALL AND MID-CAPS
SAFILO (SFLG.MI)
The debt-laden eyewear maker swung to a first-half net loss as sales fell and said it would concentrate on its core business as talks with financial investors had collapsed. [ID:nL4588747]
MAIRE TECNIMONT (MTCM.MI)
The engineering company could beat its 2009 target of 2.5 billion euros ($3.6 billion) in new orders, Chairman and Chief Executive Fabrizio Di Amato said on Tuesday after release of first-half results. [ID:nL4660171]
PININFARINA (PNNI.MI)
The car designer said its capital increase had ended with 55.6 percent of new shares offered subscribed for with a value of 38.8 million euros. Majority shareholder Pincar had bought 50.7 percent of the shares on offer, it said in a statement.
MANAGEMENT & CAPITALI (MACA.MI)
The board of the investment company declined to recommend
whether shareholders should accept a takeover offer from Tamburi
Investment Partners SpA (TIP.MI), Management & Capitali said in
a statement.
