COLOMBO (Reuters) -- The new head of the remnants of the Tamil Tigers, the separatist group defeated by the Sri Lankan military after a 25-year war, has been arrested in Thailand, Sri Lankan media reported on Thursday.

Local television channels said Selvarajah Pathmanathan, who was wanted on two Interpol warrants, was arrested in Thailand, citing military officials.
