TABLE-Honda July China car sales up 15 pct on yr

Aug 7 (Reuters) - Honda Motor's (7267.T) China car sales
climbed 14.9 percent in July from a year earlier to 50,647 units,
the company said on Friday.

Honda competes with Toyota Motor (7203.T) and other major
global auto makers in China.

Guangzhou Honda is Honda's manufacturing joint venture with
Guangzhou Automobile Group Co, which is the parent of Hong
Kong-listed Denway Motors 0203.HK.

Dongfeng Honda is a tie-up with Dongfeng Motor (0489.HK),
China's third-largest automaker.
