Obama hails Senate approval of "clunkers" measure

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama welcomed the U.S. Senate's approval on Thursday of a $2 billion extension of the "cash for clunkers" auto sales incentive, saying it would aid economic recovery and help the troubled auto industry.
