Barclays plans 12-yr stg benchmark bond -IFR

LONDON Aug 10 (Reuters) - Barclays Bank Plc (BARC.L) plans to issue a 12-year senior sterling-denominated benchmark bond, IFR reported on Monday.

Guidance is at mid-swaps plus 140 to 145 basis points for the issue, which the British bank will manage itself, said IFR Markets, a Thomson Reuters online news and market analysis service.

Barclays Bank is rated AA- by Standard & Poor's and Fitch Ratings and Aa3 by Moody's Investors Service.
