SAN FRANCISCO Aug 10 (Reuters) - Crocs Inc (CROX.O) will end its sponsorship of AVP Pro Beach Volleyball after the 2009 season, sports entertainment company AVP Inc said on Monday.

The shoe maker joined up with the sport in 2006, becoming the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour's title sponsor, according to AVP, which added that it was in talks with several brands regarding 2010 sponsorship.

The 2009 tour ends in September and Crocs bought out the remainder of its contract with the tour, AVP said in a statement.
