Hyundai Group Chairwoman Hyun Jung-eun will visit North Korea on Monday to discuss the release of a Hyundai Asan Corp worker detained by the North at the joint Kaesong industrial complex for 133 days, according to a key official of the ruling Grand National Party.

The Indian trade minister said on Friday that federal and regional governments supported POSCO's (005490.KS) construction of a steel mill in India and the project, which started in 2005, would not be delayed long.
An official at Korea Development Bank, a major creditor of Ssangyong Motor Co (003620.KS), said on Sunday it was considering providing 100 billion won ($81.69 million) in financing for the troubled automaker's restructuring.

The Korea Exchange said on Sunday around 20 foreign companies were planning IPOs on South Korea's stock exchange by the first half of 2010.
Following the conclusion of a free trade deal between South Korea and India, South Korean banks including Woori Bank, Shinhan Bank, Hana Bank and Korea Exchange Bank (004940.KS) are considering to opening branches in India, a finance ministry official said.
