UPDATE 1-Australia shares slip on investor caution

 MELBOURNE, Aug 11 (Reuters) - Australian stocks slipped 0.4
percent on Tuesday, following Wall Street down, as investors
awaited results from top companies including BHP Billiton
(BHP.AX) and Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA.AX) later this
week.
 The benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index .AXJO fell 18.2 points to
4,285.9 at 0012 GMT.
 New Zealand's benchmark NZX 50 index .NZ50 lost 19.9
points, or 0.6 percent, to 3,061.07.
