NEW YORK Aug 11 (Reuters) - U.S. Treasury debt prices rose to session highs on Tuesday as stocks extended losses, accelerating the safe-haven bid for government debt after a wholesale inventories and sales report.

The benchmark 10-year Treasury note's price, which moves inversely to its yield, traded up 19/32 for a yield of 3.71 percent US10YT=RR, versus about 3.78 percent late Monday. (Reporting by Richard Leong and John Parry; Editing by Jeffrey Benkoe)
