Indian shares to open lower on weak global cues

needed UK guarantees on loans for its Jaguar Land Rover (JLR)
unit as it had secured private funding and was close to finding
a commercial backer for a European Investment Bank (EIB) loan.
* Wipro Technologies (WIPR.BO), after Business Standard reported that Etisalat DB Telecom India, in which Emirates Telecommunications Corp (Etisalat) ETEL.AD holds a 45 percent stake, is close to signing a 15-billion-rupee outsourcing deal with the No. 3 software services exporter of India.
