India's Larsen & Toubro order book at $17.1 bln

NEW DELHI Aug 12 (Reuters) - Larsen & Toubro (LART.BO), India's top engineering and construction firm, has orders worth about 830 billion rupees ($17.1 billion), Chairman A.M. Naik said on Wednesday.

The company said last month its order backlog was 716.5 billion rupees as at end June. ($1=48.4 rupees) (Reporting by Devidutta Tripathy)
