MSCI adding 17 securities from Global Standard Indices

NEW YORK Aug 12 (Reuters) - MSCI Inc MXB.N, a provider of worldwide investment indices, said on Wednesday that 17 securities will be added to and 3 securities will be deleted from the MSCI Global Standard Indices.

MSCI said three of the largest additions to the MSCI World Index are Infineon Technologies (IFXGn.DE), XL Capital (XL.N) and Lubrizol Corporation LZ.N.

The three largest additions to the MSCI Emerging Markets Index are Unitech (UNTE.BO), Fushan International Energy (0639.HK) and Hopson Development Holdings (0754.HK).
