Slovakia - Factors To Watch on Aug 12

BRATISLAVA, Aug 12 (Reuters) - Here are news stories, press
reports and events to watch which may affect Slovak financial
markets on Wednesday.

JULY INFLATION DATA

The Statistics Office will publish July headline and core
inflation data, 0700 GMT. Analysts forecast consumer prices to
be flat on the month and by 2.3 percent annually.

Core inflation was forecast to be flat month-on-month and
1.1 percent.

PM FICO VISITS PSA PEUGEOT CITROEN

Prime Minister Robert Fico and Economy Minister Lubomir
Jahnatek will visit the PSA Peugeot Citroen factory.

SLOVAKIA TO INVESTIGATE MINE BLAST, 7TH BODY FOUND

The Slovak government will launch an investigation into a
coal mine explosion which probably killed 20 workers, Prime
Minister Robert Fico said on Tuesday, a day after the country's
deadliest mining accident.

JUNE TRADE BALANCE SHOWS SURPRISING GAP

Slovakia's foreign trade balance showed a deficit of 6.3
million euro in June, compared with a revised surplus of 125.8
million euro in May, the Statistics Office said on Tuesday.

SKYEUROPE WINS GRACE PERIOD FROM VIENNA AIRPORT

Troubled Slovak airline SkyEurope SKYV.VI won a grace
period until Friday to pay outstanding invoices after Vienna
airport temporarily grounded its flights on Tuesday, airport
operator Flughafen Wien (VIEV.VI) said.

MINE BLAST

Rescue teams recovered 14 bodies out of 20 killed mine
workers, who died in an underground explosion on Monday.
Victims' families will get a financial compensation worth 33,000
euro from the government, besides insurances and other aid.
