Starwood Trust edges down in debut

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Starwood Property Trust Inc (STWD.N) shares fell 2 percent in their first day of trading on Wednesday following the company's initial public offering.
Starwood Property shares started trading for $19.50 and rose slightly. In early trading on the New York Stock Exchange, they were changing hands for $19.61, or 1.75 percent below the IPO price of $20.
Starwood Property, an affiliate of private equity firm Starwood Capital Group, sold 40.5 million shares on Tuesday, raising $810 million, in what is likely to become the biggest U.S. IPO of the year so far.
