-- Hutchison Telecommunications 2332.HK, a unit of Hutchison Whampoa (0013.HK), might consider distributing a special dividend after the sale of a controlling stake in an Israeli mobile operation, said chief executive Dennis Lui.

-- CITIC Resources (1205.HK) said it expected to record a loss for the first half of 2009, as compared with a HK$520 million profit in the year-ago period, as deterioration in demand for and prices of energy resources and commodities due to the global financial crisis has continued to affect its performance.
-- LiFung Trinity, a menswear retailer chaired by Li & Fung's (0494.HK) chairman Victor Fung, has revived a plan to seek a Hong Kong listing before the end of this year, raising at least US$200 million and has hired JPMorgan and Citigroup to handle the deal, according to a source close to the sponsors.
