Comedy Central logs on for more "Tosh.0"

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Welcome to "Tosh 2.0."

Comedy Central has ordered six additional episodes of the weekly freshman series "Tosh.0." The show will return with new episodes at 10 p.m. October 8.

Hosted by comedian Daniel Tosh, the show mocks the online world. It launched in June with an initial order for 10 episodes, which averaged more than 1 million viewers. Among men 18-24 and 18-34, demographic groups sought by advertisers, the series ranks No. 2 among all cable networks in the Thursday 10 p.m. slot.

"Tosh.0" has garnered a sold Internet following as well.

During the show's hiatus, the "Tosh.0" log will continue to offer original content and interaction with Tosh.
