Members of the ALT Initiative to testify at State task force hearing



WHO: America's Transportation Alternative (ALT) and the Interstate Traveler
Task Force

WHAT: The fourth and final hearing to investigate the viability and funding of
the Interstate Traveler, a proposed high-speed transit network.

WHERE: Fox Theatre, 2211 Woodward Ave., Detroit, MI 48201

WHEN: Monday, August 17; 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., with a break from noon to 12:30
p.m.

DETAILS: At this hearing, ALT will respond to a proposal put forth by the
Interstate Traveler Company and present information to the Task Force
regarding interstate right-of-ways by Interstate Traveler.

The transportation plan, proposed by ALT, is inspired by the organization's
vision of connecting America through a high-speed rail to improve national
travel, reduce the nation's carbon footprint and spur job creation.

ALT is a non-partisan, collaborative effort of entrepreneurs, business people,
scientists, students and citizens who advocate for the combination of
infrastructure technologies to improve the way energy, information, and people
travel from coast to coast.
