MHA Announces Gloria Barr, Esq. as Vice President & General Counsel

FLORHAM PARK, N.J., Aug. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Managed Health Care Associates,
Inc. (MHA) is pleased to announce that Gloria Barr, Esq., has joined MHA as
Vice President & General Counsel. In this newly created role, Gloria will
have overall responsibility for all legal matters for the company, including
healthcare compliance, contract review and all corporate matters. Stephen J.

Prior to joining MHA Gloria spent 8 years with Cardinal Health where she
provided counsel to the Pharmaceutical Technologies and Services segment, a
leading provider of contract manufacturing, packaging and development
services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Gloria's role as
member of the management team included negotiating commercial agreements,
licensing arrangements and strategic alliances as well as providing support
and training to the company's global sales organization. When the segment was
sold and renamed Catalent Pharma Solutions, Gloria served as VP, Deputy
General Counsel and served on the executive team that managed the transition
and separation from Cardinal Health. In this capacity she built and led a
full service legal department and initiated the establishment of corporate
governance and compliance policies for the newly independent company. Earlier
in her career, Gloria was Assistant General Counsel at Warner Lambert Company
and before that an associate at the law firm of Davis Polk & Wardwell. Gloria
brings to MHA both knowledge of the pharmaceutical healthcare industry and
experience as a business partner to her in-house clients.
